When Alex forces his way at gunpoint into the London home of influential theatre critic Hugh Moncrieffe and takes him hostage, he thinks he knows all Hugh's dark secrets and more than enough to demolish his seemingly perfect life.

But what he knows is an entirely different matter to what he can prove. To destroy the two things Hugh cares most about, his career and reputation, Alex needs to unlock one last secret.
